I wonder if that means I'm only going to receive one card initially and have to go to the website to add him and request a second card?Īnyone have any info on that? Did your authorized user(s) transfer over? Thanks!Ĭopyright ©2001- Fair Isaac Corporation. He used his LL Bean Visa yesterday, so it still works for him, but it doesn't show up on the llbeanmastercard site. One thing I noticed is that it does not appear that my authorized user information (my husband) transferred over with my account. They could have avoided many phone calls if they'd had a specific error message stating that we needed to go to and register there instead of using the old site. It would have been nice to avoid a call to Barclay's if they'd had a better message when I attempted to login to my account on their site, instead of a generic security error. My balance transferred over fine, and I was able to make a payment. With a bit of explanation, both understood my question, and both realized that the "stock" answer in the system wasn't I just registered on the site with my Visa card number, and my number also shows up one digit > my actual card id. I spoke to two of them about the ability to "audit" my rewards. The most important thing is that they've all listened. ![]() They don't necessarily have answers at their fingertips, but they attempt to get them. The three customer service reps I've talked to have been great. But I'm not going to do that if I don't know for sure that I'm earning the 2% reward. I'd love to put most of my gas purchases on this card. The pending status will disappear by tomorrow.Īt this point, my only big concern is the fact that they can't tell you if you've earned a 2% reward on a transaction. It still shows up as pending in my checking account, but that's standard for Chase. I made the payment in the morning, my balance and available credit were restored in the evening, and my payment showed up as posted at some point overnight. Per advice from a CSR, I called in and made the payment online while a rep monitored. I made a payment yesterday to see how the process works. ![]() They said not to worry and that I'm not the only one who's called in about this. Had all four digits been different, I'd have chalked it up to a new card coming, but in this case, I felt I'd better ask. The wierd thing is that only the last digit is off, and it's only by a difference of one. With Citi, it's possible that I may make a request, especially if I can make use of the new rewards.Īnother twist I noticed today is that in my online account, the last four digits of my card number don't match what's on the card itself. I had no interest in asking, though, because I didn't want to poke the Barclays bear and because I barely spend enough to support the current limit on that card. Each request was initiated by me I'm sure you're right, and I probably did have the CLI option available. Instant approval 1 time, Denial after a phone call from Barclays the second time, and an approval just this year after a phone call from Barclays the last time. I don't know if that statement holds true for everyone. Within the online interface, there's the ability to request a CLI. ![]()
